Belleville East’s First Priority Club kicked off for their second year.  First Priority meets on Tuesday mornings, at 7:50am in D205.

First Priority is a Christian club that is designed to bring students together to share and invest in their faith on campus.  Over 25 students and adults leaders gathered on October 3rd to prepare for the coming year.

Many students involved shared that First Priority is their weekly motivation in church, school, work, and home.

Student leader, Chloe McIsaac, shared “First Priority is an awesome opportunity for east students to meet new people, hang out with friends, eat free donuts, and spend some time getting to know Jesus!”

Their weekly meetings vary in structure to keep things fun and interesting. Some weeks, they host a speaker and other weeks, they engage in group discussion and devotionals.

In their first meeting of the 2017-18 school year, they hosted speaker, Alex McHugh, from the Center for Racial Harmony.  Mr. McHugh gave encouragement to the students for the year, acknowledging the power young people have in numbers when we campaign for a cause of unity together.

The Belleville East First Priority club is extremely motivated and excited for a fun year.  They invite all East students to join them in their Tuesday morning meetings.
